Dr. Rakesh Bhargava is a life member and fellow of the Indian Chest Society, National College of Chest Physicians, Indian Academy of Neurosciences, Indian Association of Bronchology, Indian Medical Association, National College of Allergy Asthma and Applied Immunology, ACCP (USA) and European Respiratory Society.
He worked as a professor in the department of TB and Respiratory disease at Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University and possesses a glorious experience of teaching Post Graduate medical (PG Medical) students for 37 years and Under Graduate (UG) students for about 39 years. He also acted as Dean, Faculty of Medicine there for 2 Years.
Prof. Bhargava has contributed over 114 papers to national and international peer reviewed journals.
His thrust areas are bronchoscopy, lung function studies, allergy testing, allergy vaccination, bronchogenic carcinoma, asthma, intestinal lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, COPD and tuberculosis.
