ICCU stands for Intensive Coronary Care Unit (also sometimes called Cardiac ICU). It’s a specialized unit in a hospital designed to care for patients with serious heart-related conditions that require constant monitoring and intensive treatment. We have full functional 5 beds ICCU at RG Hospital and Medical Research Institute.
The ICCU is equipped with advanced monitoring and life-support systems for patients dealing with severe cardiac issues, such as:
Heart attacks (Myocardial Infarction)
Severe heart failure
Arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats)
Post-cardiac surgery recovery
Cardiogenic shock
Angina (chest pain) that's unstable
